Our Mission

IHKAAM aims to teach Arabic and Islamic studies to both beginners and advanced learners. It also offers courses in traditional Islamic and Arabic disciplines, such as Usul al-Fiqh and the principles of Tafseer.

In addition, it strives to teach authentic Arabic, grounded in standard norms and modern styles.

IHKAAM’s mission is to raise awareness of the essence of Islam by emphasising the profound meanings of its message and its higher purposes. Additionally, it seeks to introduce Arabic culture alongside the Arabic language.

The Founder

Dr Wael Hamdoush

Specialist in Arabic and Islamic studies.
PhD in principles of Islamic law and linguistics from Leeds University
Worked on a PhD in Principles of Islamic Law (أصول الفقه) at Damascus University
Master’s in principles of Islamic law and Arabic linguistics.
Diploma in Islamic Law and its principles (الفقه الإسلامي وأصوله) from the Faculty of Islamic Law in Damascus.
Degree in Islamic studies from Damascus University, Faculty of Islamic law (كلية الشريعة)
Has taught Arabic and Islamic studies in Syria and the UK.
